This course is suitable for anyone with a passion or involvement with wild animals

To ensure they receive appropriate and suitable care and their health is maintained, it is important to understand more about their health and needs. This 600 hour certificate course provides you with a detailed insight into animal health and disease, their behaviour, vertebrate zoology and wildlife management and conservation.
The Modules
There are two (2) compulsory modules consisting of -
Animal Health Care
Animal Diseases
Electives
After completing the above two modules, select and complete four (4) of the following:
Animal Welfare
Animal Behaviour
Vertebrate Zoology
Wildlife Conservation
Wildlife Management
How The Course Works
You can start the course at any time.
It is studied by distance learning, so you can study in the comfort of your own home. But this doesn't mean you are all alone in your studies. Our highly qualified and friendly tutors are there to help you every step of the way. If you have any questions at all, they are always happy to help.

To complete the course, you are required to study six 100 hour modules.
There is an assignment at the end of each lesson. For example, in the Animal Behaviour module, there are eight lessons, so eight assignments.
At the end of each module, there is also an examination which you can take at a time and location to suit you.
To pass the course you are required to pass all assignments and six exams.
